@curlyhb Yes, i am american. And i completely forgot about that haha. My friend is a foreign exchange student from italy and his birthday is really december 3rd, but on the passport, it says 3.12.1994. He's using the american way to get into a club on the 12th of march hahah.

@LordNibbler2300 I take it you're American? Most countries on this earth actually put the date in the dd/mm/yyyy format, i.e. 1 January 2010.

@crazydude980 Totally legit! =) I've lived in in the States as well as in Canada for a while, and in Canada it seems that there are 3 different ways to put the date. Where are you from?

@curlyhb Do you ever pronounce the date like, January 1st, or do you say the 1st of January? I'd say 99% of the time people where I'm from (Canada) say January 1st, so it's kind of natural to put it down month/day/year, but it might be a chicken egg thing, where people say it like that because we write it like that.

@OGBDane I never looked at it that way actually =) I guess for me as a German it's easier because we pronounce it day/month/year when we say it, but when I'm in the States I switch to month/day/year. It's kind of the same as putting the $ sign before of the amount, although you pronounce it "soandsomany dollars."
