Michael Connelly's Echo Park

I could see a rough Tom Selleck type of actor in this role.
I have read all of Connelly books except the new one Dragons. My absolute favorite writer. I also can't wait for any movie series that could come but a tv series would give me more to watch. John.

Man of man, what a great TV series this would be! PBS of course,  no commercials, straight thru, like I read MC's books! LOL

Like the fact that someone put this together, but I agree with previous comments, that Bosch should be older, grumpier, and more rumpled. This guy is to young to be Bosch.

This is Bosch in 1993. Tim Abell, the actor playing Bosch, is either exactly the same age as Bosch in 1993, or a year older than Bosch. I forget which at this time. (It's been a few years since we made this.)

Thanks for the update. Either way I look forward to any movies that would involve his character as the lead. I think Connelly has developed a great role in Bosch....

this is great.. however.. i got from the books that edgar was younger than harry, as he mentions that harry was someone he looked up to... and bosch looks a little less disheveled than i imagined him to be!!! thanks for posting!!!!

I agree that the Bosch books are one of the best series of crime books ever. I speak as a former fan of Eric Ambler and Len Deighton books!

he is a little big for a TR. Too bad Robert Blake is older, he would be about the right size and have the right attitude.

I don't know why but I always pictured him something between Nock Nolte and Tom Berenger.
