help me out guys? i cant decide between pdp fs or pearl vmx. i havent heard either in person but the pearl set has a life time warrenty on it
-
I just bought the Cherry to Balck fade today ;D
-
i tell you what... if you want to get heads, go with guitar center. but as far as drumsets go, look other places. simply because gc does not always have the best prices. look around, and check ebay often.
-
well if you but from guitar center it comes as a package. it goes for $901. being a drummer and on a budget, i gotta do whats best for my pocket.
-
yea. because i got the floor model, and they let their customers beat the crap out of it, they sold it to me for $485. then gave me 10% off of REMO Emporer heads. plus i also bought a DW 7000 bass pedal from there. all in total i paid $750 i think. not a bad deal in my eyes

i just bought a cherry to black fade. check out best buy... i know that sounds rediculous, but i got mine there for under $500.

The 6 piece is around $1000 and the 5 piece is around 900 bucks... GC prices mind you and US... The FS kits IMO Are the sexiest kits that PDP makes, and as close to a true DW finish as you can get, well aside from the satin oil platinums...

May i know how much the drum set is? Thanks. =)

lol yeah, it doesnt really matter if you know WHAT your playing on, as long as you know HOW to play it. lol i just found it funny cuz youre like "oh. this is my drum kit, i dont know what series it is, idk the sizes, uh, this is some sort of finish, ive got some... circular pieces of metal" lol ya sure its a drum kit? :P
ya know... i like to rock out with everything pitched kinda high (in that reggae kinda style rather than the thunky rock kind, right?)
so its pretty hard for me to find a set where i'm like, 'whassup, son! aww schnap! listen to these tones!'
i'm feelin' how CLOSE everything is, too. you can do some sick roll-arounds with this setup.
1-10, i give it a mother-humpin' 10, even with the oft-snubbed, overlooked PDP brand-name.
