we play plenty of talent in the sports that we can. football only has a limited amount of games so conference games are about all we can play. baseball, basketball. im not sure ihsaa would allow a school like us, with a population of 227 to move up in class, especially as high as 3A. great thought tho, since we play mostly 3A and 4A teams in the sports that we can (football not included til conference change next season).

@NicktotheStone Yeah, I know CC has some great talent and I don't want to take that away... believe me! I just really think it would be cool to see you guys move up to something like 3A. CC can put up with those teams at times but I really think it would be different if you were to play a schedule like that all year round, especially in the playoffs. CC can say they play those teams, but it really doesn't matter when you see the talent they match up against in the playoffs.

@HurricaneDITKA89 ....lets see we played and beat KOKOMO CLASS 4A 17-7, who had two top players in the state, tj weir and nolan sanburn. Sanburn of course you prolly know was DRAFTED by the TIGERS. Who in 1A is good? Cowan>? we beat them as i said.. #1 Frontier and Dylan Sterrett? we beat them twice, 22-3 and 8-1. so whats your next argument.? im a member of the baseball team. i could go on forever there.

@HurricaneDITKA89 Wellll now sirrrr...yes we play mediocre at best teams during playoffs most of the time, look at our regular season schedules for baseball and basketball. Baseball, we play Cathedral who went to state in 4A and has a pitcher going to TEXAS. yes we lost, but so what we play competition. We played Cowan in regionals two years in a row, who had a pitcher drafted by the RAYS in the first round, who consistently hit 95-97. We BEAT him TWO YEARS IN A ROW.....

@NicktotheStone Plenty of teams could recruit players in a city like Lafayette who has one 3A program (West Side), three 5A football programs (Harrison, Jeff McC) and route a team like Fountain Central 52-0. CC's a joke... especially when they play teams in the baseball state championship who literally don't have enough players to fill a baseball team. Must feel pretty good to strike out a girl and beat a team of 9 players. Go ahead, take the easy wins. You couldn't win in another class anyway.
