.TV: Lara Feltin and Dan McComb from Biznik

Lara Feltin (CEO and co-Founder) and Dan McComb (co-Founder Editor Online content ) from Biznik talk about Biznik's role in the entrepreneurial world. Biznik started about four years ago in Seattle and is an online business community for independent business people. Biznik marries social networking technology with face-to-face events. Biznik members are all experts in what they do and can host events where they give everyone an opportunity to meet one another, use the site, talk with one another and show off their expertise. The movie "Shine, a film about why people become entrepreneurs," produced by Dan McComb, was his first film. He realized there's a lot of video producers on Biznik, so why not get the video producers together with those running businesses, and 250 of them actually told their stories on camera. "Shine" is really about the stories of people running their own businesses, entrepreneurs, talking about their biggest obstacles, challenges, and why they do what they do. The power of web video is dynamic and alive, and creating Biznik.tv will engage the business community.
