  • I have a sun conure, and the only thing he says is Cuco, he screams all the time, what can I do for him to be like Leo. any tips, plz

  • @nessa1nessa1 Starting young is the key. I've never seen a conure get quite like Leo without being hand-fed by the owner.

  • he loves u very much , so nice, these little ones enjoy so much to love...

  • Leo's just like... "Go away >.<"

  • @KippTheKidd :P yesturday my birdy foun a bone with meat (i was eating it) and he ate the meat and he made a mees

  • @nessa1nessa1 Conures are not a quiet bird. Just talking to them a lot can help encourage them to talk rather than screech. Some birds don't get super articulate with their speech though. My sun mostly makes the grumbly muttery kind of sounds that Leo is doing in this video.

And yeah, like Kipp says, hand raising makes a big difference.

  • lol lov his little grunting cherps <3

  • @lordiilordii Wow, 5 months is actually a good time to start. It's tough though - they do get caught in trees. The young ones are usually willing to "try again", but adults sometimes give up. Before you do it, you need to read LOTS AND LOTS of web pages about it - You should read an hour a day for a week, and really think about it. Chris Biro is a pro and he's written some good stuff - google for his website, videos and forums on "free flight birds". Good luck!

  • @KippTheKidd That is such a shame :( . What happened to him? When I was little my dad raised a couple of birds including a sun conure. I treasure birds so much, for they played a huge part in my childhood, I am now in college so i cannot have any pets in my dorm, but i hope one day i can raise a parrot to be as tame and friendly as Leo was. Thank you for sharing all those wonderful videos with us <3.

  • @FlutterbyLullaby Leo was 4.
