In which I try to clear up some points on why Terminator Salvation doesn't fit with T1 T2 or T3.

I saw a interview with Mc G and Stan Winston before he past Mc G said that he looked At 1&2 and studied it everyday to make sure they get everything they could right for fans! Little things like in T2 when the T800 tells john he will meet his father in the future, which he does in the film , Little stuff like that made me like the film more . john using his skills as a hacker from T2 to hack that Moto Terminator bike, Playing the Guns and Roses song from T2 !

@TheSorrow696 Yeah he took a bunch of little stuff and everything actually important he completely changed and made as uninteresting as possible. "Oh yea John isn't a messianic figure he's just a guy. Oh all humans aren't huddled together trying to survive they're more like Mad Max. Oh the world isn't littered with the bones of the mass murder of the human race its' a dessert like Mad Max. Oh the Terminator's aren't slowly developed as infiltrators they just go in and kill everyone."

T4 has sum flaws , but it isnt a god awful film, with endless plot holes ,I respect the film for its effort in trying to tell a prequel trilogy story based off the 1st film but still I Love the first Terminator to death just like you man! I knew salvation wasnt going to be perfect unless Cameron did it!

I see what u mean but I didnt mean it like that man. I honestly hated the new batman movie, the 2nd movie was awsome , becuz of Heath's performance, bale was awful, 2 Face could have done more, but still I bought his performance too . I still love the 89 Batman and Returns Tim Burton is a awsome!

@Ikarosus Yeah I thought that was great in Sarah Conner Chronicals when they just skipped over the third movie and carved out their own timeline. :)

@Ikarosus I don't dissagree with that per se I was just saying logically either history can be change or it can't and if you can change things enough to alter WHEN something happens then HOW it happens has to be effected. Not sure how much that would need to be explained (or how a group of characters who are part of an altered timeline would know it enough to explain it to the audience) but yeah you're right they went generic and it cost them I'm just expalining how it could happen.

@LibraGamesUnlimited You would atualy might have a point, if THEY SAID IT. They didnt. What they said is, that everything is still the same. And even if it wasnt, there is no reason to change it. What they did, is that they took away everything diffrent and interesting and make it boring, cliche and "oh, look giant robots, kewl!".

no no no.... fucking with the past like that has change the timeline of things , The future was never set to begin with , theres no fate but what we make. thats the whole concept of T 4 .

@Ikarosus Okay how on Earth can you change history enough to shift a key event later down the timeline without changing anything else? Do you think if someone went back and time and changed events so that say WWII happend five or even ten years later that it would then unfold in exactly the same way? I doubt it. Anyway, if the machines are so smart wouldn't they KNOW you can't change history and not bother building a time machine in the first place?
