F-Zero GX on Dolphin Wii/GC Emulator (720p HD) Full Speed

F-Zero GX running on the dolphin emulator SVN 5287 in 720p HD at full speed .

The video does suffer some slowdowns, and i do apologies, but for the majority of the time the game is running at 60FPS full speed.

Running the NTSC version.

Recorded using FRAPS 2.98

PC Specs:
-Intel Core i7 920 @ 4.07Ghz
-Corsair 6GB DDR3 1600Mhz C8D RAM
-XFX Radeon HD4890 1GB DDR5 (OC)
-Seagate SATA II 500GB HDD
-Corsair HX-650W
-Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit

My settings for the emulator are;
Core:
Dual core and idle skipping on.
to have both optimise quantizers on and progressive scan on.
Graphics: Direct3d9
I have native resolution off, auto scale on.
Video Res: 1280x720
Audio: DSP-HLE:
I have the audio throttle enabled.

All other plugins are defaulted.

Seriously, turn up the AA. I have i7 860 and HD5770 and the max AA doesn't slow me down at all.

My system can play any game in 1080p HD with 8X AA and AF enabled but when i am recording with fraps it lags too much.

That's weird... On me it doesn't lag at all but it might be because I'm using the Direct3d plugin (for some reason OpenGL kills my superb framerates in every game).

@TheFlameFox No i use direct3d9 as well. Everything is fine when fraps isnt running. I get full 50/60FPS in 1080p. When it starts to record though it lags a lot. Seems as though your gpu can handle more :)

Do all the levels run at full speed in grand Prix?

I heard that when you use an old revision like this, you get graphics glitches bc the floating point math in the code is incorrect for this game. Do you get any graphcis glitches? Does story mode work?

@iNexXxuS You can get rid of this by selecting "Enable EFB Copy - To RAM" in the Advanced Graphics tab. Shadows work for me when I select that option (running Dolphin 6295).

How come when I try to run this, it crashes my emu right after the "loaded successfully" screen? I use Dolphin 2.0.
