Kedves Zsiga Vertov!
sajnos nem jött át a jobb oldalra a Dziga féle líra, és bizonyos képeknél tényleg mintha hiányozna a megértés. pl három ciprusféle fa egymás mellett az ikonfestészeti-szakrális szimbólum, és erre Te egy parkrészletet vágsz, stb...
A munka azért tiszteletet érdemel.

tetszenek a filmek, s jó, látom egy róka is szerepel..

It looks like a version for a Jorge Luis Borges story, when its main caracter decides to rewrite the Cervant's Don Quixote word by word.
I like your work!

I understand. It is hard to make a exact copy, and why should u do that. Great job anyway, how long did u work on it? Cheers, Bob

Jól van, jó ez :)
poor. the shots are just-alike they used to be, but something makes me feel you just tried to fulfill the frame with the proper object. Did you tried any effort to understand vertov's work? I think copying doesnt mean understanding, in this case.

Of course there are numerous ways of remaking Dziga Vertov's classic movie and I haven't ever stated that my conception was the best solution. If you read my former comments you wouldn't have supposed that `I tried to fulfill the frame with the proper object´. You would have been sure about it! :) But as you can read in the description this film was just made for a High School Competition and not really for artistic purposes.

Nevertheless I must tell you that I read many of Vertov's writings and I do understand his montage-theory. Probably in few years I'm going to remake another scene from Chelovek s kino-apparatom with quite different bases and visualization.

Hi! Actually I didn't use any additional lens in contrast to Dziga Vertov. Sometimes it caused serious concern because I couldn't find the appropriate angle, so I had to get along with an old Sony Digital8 camera (DCR TRV125E).
It was a no-budget shooting. :)

I think you did quite a nice job there. Only I don't understand u call it 2006? Why do u film old elements if u want to make a 2006 copy?: like at (3:03) (3:14). But nicely done!

Thanks for your comment. It makes me glad, when someone unknown gives full marks for my film. :) Here's the answer to your question: The concept of my film was that if I could find the adequate object, then it meant to me that the element exists in the present(even if its role has changed); therefore I have the ground to put in the film (for example, I could find a typewriter at home). After all, probably I wouldn't follow this concept if I ought to remake the film again. :)
