If you want to be a hot air balloon enthusiast you have to get up really early in the morning! We were up at 2.45 am to reach Hyde Park for the small window of time in Air Traffic Control for take off. It's a memorable and quite rare experience to be able to fly over London in a Hot Air Balloon. This was a special morning with a spectacular flight by Buckingham Palace and over Battersea Power Station. You are a true Hot Air Balloonist only after you have elegantly glided through the branches of a tree. Look out for the lady at the end who ends up with a small piece of tree in her hands. We had a wonderful time.
