Swiped my credit card for gas, but screen said pad was broken. Eventually a garbled voice muttered something about a black phone. When I got in to pay, I got a lecture about the need to use the black phone. "It's 401 and I'm from Michigan, forget the phone and fix the pump so that it works like every other Shell gas pump in North America." Oh, don't go to the restaurant. The service was so slow that we put $20CND on the table and left without getting our food. I think racism was a factor.
