Help Children and Animals - Green Chimneys Challenge Grant

Green Chimneys is in the midst of a million dollar challenge drive from the prestigious Kresge Foundation. Can you help us? If every viewer of a television show featuring Green Chimneys or reader or an article featuring the program would contribute just $10, we'd be well on our way to reaching our goal. If we reach it by April 2009, we will receive $400,000 toward Phase I or our capital and endowment program.




Green Chimneys restores possibilities and creates futures for hundreds of children with emotional, behavioral, social and learning challenges as well as farm animals and wildlife. Founded in 1947, the non-profit organization is world renowned for its animal-assisted therapy and activities program and operates a special education school, a farm and wildlife rehabilitation center, a horticulture therapy program, therapeutic riding programs, community based services including a runaway shelter and community outreach center, mentoring programs and a comprehensive program in NYC for LGBTQ youth. Help us help our children and animals!
