Mega Man X2 "Unused" Enemy

Sprites_INC has this enemy listed as unused, but believe it or not, it actually isn't unused!

See, the thing is that it's actually used for the ride armor guy! However, since the game and level layout typically have you use the ride armor into that area anyway, you have to actually do this on purpose in order to get them to come out.

Pretty interesting, eh? Here's the eneny in action. =)

the same thing happens in the MMX1, if you go withot the ride armor to wherevere there's another enemy with another ride armor he will beon the ground instead of the armor

This vid is a bit old, but that's no really all that surprising. I used to do the same thing, only I'd jump out of the ride armor as soon as I got down there, kill him, and leave w/o taking his armor.

...This isn't new...I am not really sure why this surprises anyone...The 2nd sigma stage in MMX1 where you HAVE to destroy the robot to take his ride armor should have been made people assume the same can be done in this game.

Why do I care so much? I guess its because im having a terrible day.
