Are there any PIX Yankee openings? That was a sweet theme song they had. This was a special time to be in NY growing up in the late 60s and 70s. Does anyone know if those lines on the TV screen that were always present on the set was really the WTC or was that a rumor?
Thanks for the videos...lots of classics here, Syms, Crazy Eddie, Diet Coke, ending with the classic Kay Bee Toy Stores commercial (a car is not a toy-I vividly remember that one). Happy Holidays!
What a great time period! Like to see these from around 1982-1983 -- this was when the bridge from the 70s to the 80s took place. Also tons of Crazy Eddie, video game ads and WNEW Available Ats!

@DanZero77 - You can check news reports over Syms and Filene's Basement. You can find out from there.

@wmbrown6 Are they really? Being out of the area it's kinda hard to follow, but their commercials (and stores) were around for years!

That's "Mr.ABC" and "Ghoulardi" himself, the late Ernie Anderson v/o the Mattel Electronics ad.
