After many years of installing and servicing oil fired boilers I developed this layout for installing boilers. The purpose of the "kitty corner" is to allow full access for servicing the boiler. It also allows for quick and easy inspection for both the homeowner and service technician.I hope you will find this useful in your next installation .The Diamond plate is not necessary, However, I use it because it not only looks good but it defines your boiler and creates a maintanance free backround.

  • What's that red thing you used to seal the connections of the flue? Looks good.
