  • tune piano plz

  • It had been tuned about a week before and is still in tune 5 months later.

  • wow, that was really really impressive although the sound quality was a bit poor.. i'm also practicing for my performer's.. i was wondering, which program are you doing? royal associated board or trinity?

  • Trinty, i did it in November, now its ATCL! Actually i'm doing (Dip)ABRSM too, i want lots of letters :)

  • ohh wow.. good luck w/ all that! :) u should upload some more videos :) i'm barely finding time to practice for my performer's.. i was wondering, what other pieces did u play for ur exam?

  • 1st movement of Pathétique sonata, Rachmaninoff Barcarolle and Chopin nocturne op.62 no.2 These are all on the old syllabus which ended this year :(

  • The middle section are cadenzas are good from what I can tell and they are the most difficult. The first and last sections are too slow and you don't allow the melody to sound through the arpeggios. Listen to Yundi Li for an example of how beautiful the first section is and think of the melody as you play it.

  • Everything is great except:

    1. First part is too slow

    2. The piano needs to be tuned

    3. Please use the pedal

    4. The sound quality is absolutely horrible

  • @chopinscoffeebuddy

Actually a tune lasts about a month if it's old (less if it's new). You probably just don't know it's out of tune after 5 months.

  • actually a tune on a regular piano lasts about a month if it's old and played daily (more if it's new).

  • everything but the first part was great

  • agree with aslaan

  • too slow.

better if you use the pedal

and the sound quality is not good

    but you play well

  • So, while chastising someone for being unnecessarily rude and insulting, I'M stupid for also pointing out that they don't exactly make themselves LOOK like the Einstein they THINK they are in the first place? No, none of this had anything to do with grammar but what the hell, the way people bastardize the English language is appalling any more. I failed English miserably and yet I at least know a little about composing a simple sentence. I doubt he's foreign, just doesn't care how he writes.

  • What's stupid is being pedantic enough to consider grammar being important in this case. Yes name calling is stupid but why take in factors that have nothing to do with what he was saying. He could be foreign for all you know.

  • It doesn't matter whether he wanted to play it like this or not, although you should put your own style into a piece doesn't mean you change the value of the notes, e.g a faster right hand and not holding down notes long enough on the left. You're the fool.
