Columbia County Commissioner Scarlet Frisina, along with her children Chandler and Caitlyn, brought some of the goats and chickens from their farm for a visit with the residents at the group home operated by CARC Advocates for Citizens with Disabilities in Lake City. This special event brought smiles to the faces of the residents. Scarlet discusses how she learned of CARC and became involved, while Executive Director Mike Bell describes how state budget cutbacks have made it difficult to do activities for the residents.

It's so wonderful to see a county commissioner get involved in the community. More so, to involved her children in the spirit of sharing with others.
