I like the blue line the best. I know the channel design on the yellow is thicker and stronger but I feel to can pivot much faster with the blue line standard channel and make less mistakes.

Mark, whats your favorite wagtail, the blue one or the yellow disk one?

@andya07774 I often use regular Ettore soft rubber with my wagtails. No problems there. One tip for less detail is to pre-cut the edges. You can use e clean towel to go across the edges before squeegeeing. or you can do what I do and pre-cut your side and top edges using the end of you squeegee edge. Just run about an inch or so of your rubber along the edge then and then when you squeegee the rest of the window you no longer have have to get close to the edge.

Mark I recently broke my wagtail dog-ear it, can you give me any tips for less detailing please? I see in the videoyou had the original hard rubber in most WC say use soft does one work better than the other?

Good One!
why not use the Wagtail pad reversed? we have always suggested this for very tall windows. However this is an excellent video.

Easily doable with the flipper but not the Whirlwind. The Whirlwind pad isn't large enough to go over top and completely cover the squeegee blade.

I've been waiting for this instructional video ever since I started using the wagtail on a pole! Excellent! thankyou.. How do you feel about dog earing the channel? and also what if you have a border between the top window and lower windows that water drips down on. How do you mop up the water from the upper window ledge to prevent it from dripping. I've tried the ettore sponge holder but it just leaves a water smear... thanks

I used to dog ear my channels when I was first learning but now I don't bother. You might want to try cutting your rubber a little closer to the edge of your channel.
For cleaning high sills I'll usually wrap a blue huck towel around my pole tip and use an angle adapter for more precision work.
