Sweet! Rare siren, and it still works!
-
@murrfarms unfortunately they only do attack for firecalls. was hoping they did alternate wail for the noon blast, but oh well. its a 115 so im just happy it worked

@amtrak3501 Oh sweet, they even sound for fire calls? That would be even cooler, especially if they use alternate steady or something!
-
@murrfarms yes it is, shocked to see that they had 2. i knew about the I94 one, but never knew about this one. i decided to look around just to see if they had another siren, but wasnt expecting it to be another 115. Sure glad i found it. i like to catch one during a firecall!

Ok I'm on the mattawan fire department. The siren goes off once at noon daily if someone is avaiable to set it off from the fire station. For fires the siren will sound five times using the same tone except it doesnt stop it winds down the winds back up until the 5th sound then its done. For tornados it goes of using the same tone for a steady 3 mins before it winds down and then shuts off. The 2nd siren is located at the dead end turn around on root rd. that is our north siren.

Nice video! This one sounds healthy! You must feel good that you've finally heard a 115

Thanks for getting this one. I passed the one on I-94 every day going to and from work when I lived in Kzoo. Do you know if the I-94 one sounds along with this one, or if it has a different purpose?

@erik92da at the end of the video, you can hear it wind down in the distance, its used just like this one.
