  • and you obviuosly don't know anything about how to play a bodhran!!! I feel embarrassed after seeing this poor performance...

  • Imho, I am really surprised how you can hear this in a YouTube video shot with a digicam in-built micro - no sophisticated equipment used - I mainly only can hear the rhythms of the darabuka. OK, if you blame the bodhran player for the darabuka beats you might be correct...

And by the way: a humble attitude - in this case: constructive criticism - also suits the YouTube user well

  • I think she is not showing off, I think she only feels the music and is corresponding to it. And I think that you are allowed to play an Instrument on stage, even if you are no professional...

  • no ma!! yo quiero una vieja asi no ma!!!!

  • BettyBaindle av been playin the button accordion for 8 years and am only 13...would u call that professional ?

i can even play this tune with more life ...yet not ruin it with speed or too many triplets

  • No point in argueing here - opinion obviously stuck...!

  • There is no need to "hear" it... Anyone can "see" how she is "playing" the bodhrán (if you can say playing to that..)..

She just doesn't know how to play a simple jig pattern... What I criticize is her attitude... If you don't know how to play then don't Show off...!!!! it's just embarrasing and ooohh so annoying!!!

  • Oh... and I forgot... of course you can't compare a pub performance in Ireland(anyone...) with this poor "stage" performance.... No comparisson!!!! this video is ... oh my god...

Anyhow... I could give her some names of teachers who play in Irish pubs... they are just masters.... and sooooo humble!!!!

  • And I suggest You to visit a concert of them, before judging from a youtube-video...

Besides: You don't wanna seriously compare a pub to a stage

and last: for "showing off" - You obiously don't know anything about german audiences...;)
