  • chan01 response: I'm from Jerez, I used to study guitar with Juan Pedro. The last I heard he was playing here and there for a quite well known flamenco fusion group called "Los Delincuentes", aside from that no idea, but I'm fairly sure he is in Jerez. The piece you recorded at the Taberna is a composition of his, mixing the style of the "rondeña" with the rhythm of the buleria. He was working on it when I was last taking classes with him (7 years ago!) No solo recordings of him to date.

  • hello.. thanks man..seems like ur so lucky to know a lot. im wondering if i can get good clean mp3 format for that song. do u know any web that provided we to download this song? i really appreciate if u could help me for me this.. im asian actually.. but i loved spanish music more than others. it is coz of amazing guitar technic and somber love song. i like it very much.

  • I was only quoting something another person told me. His username is "chan01." If you scroll down you'll see where he posted an earlier comment. I then contacted him directly; he replied, and I posted his comment as you saw it. If you want additional information from the source I recommend you contact him directly.

  • The guitarist is Juan Pedro Pimentel

  • Tell me more! How do you know this musician... are you from Jerez de la Frontera?

  • Magnifique , merci ;)

  • "Sucks" is not a word understood here. Most of the comments are from those who understand and appreciate this music. Critics generally congregate for the purpose of analyzing commercial works of art. This performance here was small & intimate, enjoyed by flamenco aficionados, 7 yrs ago. Therefore, your insults serve no purpose.

  • Amazing! This music puts my emotions and brain at work. I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.

And for the fluor heads: Please bugger off!

  • viva jerez

  • @christianz2010 i said MIXED with spanish i didnt say they are, ha:D

  • @SkipyWasHere mixed with frech spanish and lil bit of black in some parts, but we are not spanish

  • @christianz2010 mexicans are mixed with spainish

  • @Sillyjake86 well said, luckily I play both styles and sometime combine them

  • I love hearing the electric guitar fan boys talking, and then the flamenco fan boys. It's like xbox vs PS3. They are both good, however, they have their differences, but they are both guitars. But honestly, the ONLY people who have a say here, are those who have played both guitars and styles. If you have not, then you have absolutely NO weight to your words. If you have an issue with that, curse me out online, because it wouldn't happen in person.
