@idesignandcreate Hiya mate, Yeh it seems crazy that just because Dell put this sort of sfotware on their computers to start with it instantly cripples the end user experience. After removing all that the system started to fly and is a great laptop and really quick I was really impressed. But yeh I have built my desktop PCs for years now I like to know exactly what parts i'm getting and the best value for money :)
I just got a Dell Inspiron 15R. Has the list of bloatware updated since the time you removed the unnecessary programs? Also, would you use CCleaner or PC Decrapifer to get rid of the bloatware? Thanks!

@knicksjets Hi it might have changed yes Dell adds more and more rubbish with every release! CCleaner probably wont help as it just removes temp files and cookies automatically. It will remove other stuff but you need to know what to remove first so you could just use the windows method. Ive never used Decrapifier, but it looks a good idea. If its not got rid of everything you think it could though just google each program listed and work out if you want it or not :) Hope that helps!

Good video Mark, Dell have got to be the worst for this sort of stuff, this is also a reason why I got a Mac and am building my own because of Dell. Dell quickset controls the lights and fans linked to the motherboard on my PC so you might want to keep that.
