Billy is a former law enforcement officer and investigator and in 2000 began having encounters with something totally unknown to him on his hunting property that had a great impact on the way he viewed the great outdoors and its wildlife forever.

Being no stranger to the great outdoors, the former law enforcement officer, turned rancher and began a quest for the truth about what he had encountered.

He had heard tales of strange creatures roaming the River bottoms of Northeast Texas over the years but he never expected to encounter one or more of these creatures himself.

After he and his father cast what many consider to be one of the best footprint casts in the State of Texas, it only added more credibility to the tales he had heard.

Being a rancher and cowboy Billy brings what one could only call "true grit" to the field of bigfoot research.
