Here's another track by this legendary Russian singer/songwriter punk-poet, who was a part of the Siberian underground rock scene. This is the last track of her last album, "Pridyot Voda" or "The Water Is Coming", released around the time of the breakup of the Soviet Union in 1991. She tragically drowned in the Inya River only two months following the recording, in what's believed to be a suicide. Her previous partner, Egor Letov, and her friends completed the recordings following her death, which originally only consisted of Yanka's acoustic guitar and vocals. The guitar sounds like it's literally crying, and Letov did a magnificent job in perfecting that particular sound on this album.
this is great. she's a legend for sure.

Love her last EP. To my mind, folk influence is very obvious on this postmortem release, even more than on her "Гори, гори ясно!" song (maybe Bashlachev's death had something to do with it). Too bad there would be no continuation to it.

Хорошая песня! Все же, из ее творчества, на мой взгляд, самые силиные композиции "На чёрный день" , "берегись!" и "Столетний дождь". Спасибо.
