Shut the fuck up, you replied the same fukn comment to 6 people... Who gives a shit, get the fuck off their dicks

  • @AmazingAthlete22 Wow. Check your facts before making such a d-bag statement. "Stripes" not "Stride". Before you argue with me like others have, listen the the Suh version it's very clear. Or read "Hero of the Underground" by Husker Jason Peter who puts it in his book. It's a military term. Means to live up to your expectations ie the stripes on your shoulders.

  • @9Saints25 It is a military saying. Live up to your expectations ie the stripes on your shoulder. Also read the Jason Peter book, he writes it in there. It is officially "STRIPES."

  • @TheMan16111 I don't know who wrote this originally, but the Huskers were the first team to say this as a team before a game. Fans found out they were doing it in the mid 90's, but the players from back then won't talk much about traditions so we don't know if it was going on before that or not.

  • @snakebandit He's a little hard to understand in general. It's the same reason so many people think it's "stride" or "Strife" instead of Equal all our stripes. Can't tell you how many people get pissed at me when I point out they have it wrong (like in the writing part of the vid).

  • @cg7079 "Stripes" not "Stride". A lot of people get that wrong. Don't sweat it. Before you argue with me like others have, listen the the Suh version it's very clear. Or read "Hero of the Underground" by Husker Jason Peter who puts it in his book. It's a military term. Means to live up to your expectations ie the stripes on your shoulders.

  • @tkaedingfan In this version it was Cory Ross I believe. Over the years different players have lead the prayer.

  • @westlinnlaxgoalie It's stripes. It's a military term. Means to live up to your expectations ie the stripes on your shoulder. Also if you read the Jason Peter book he (one of the original players to do the prayer for Nebraska) writes it, and it is written "stripes".
