http://www.reasonablefaith.org - Was Hitler a Christian? Did the Nazis love and worship a Jew named Jesus? What role did the church play during the Nazi regime? William Lane Craig (who holds a degree in history) deals with Hitler and the Nazis and the question of Christianity and the church.
The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Hitler, his wars, and his huge armies and his long worldly speeches should be enough for you realize, but I guess its not.
IMO religion and Nazi's had nothing to do with each other. Hitler was an educated politician and a psychopath. Early on they claimed Christian, had christian writting on belt buckets and other daily worn items. This probably helped Hitler in his initial rise to power. But someone so twisted would say/wear/use anything that would help their "cause". And it wouldn't surprise me if Hitler thought he was God.
True, but we Christians do need to defend the truth and we Christians do need to distance ourselves from those who do things that are in direct opposition to what we believe.
@TheSittingArchitect It must be said that between 1933 and early 1940s Hitler had little opposition in Germany. In fact he could have won any election easily. That´s the sad true. So blaming the catholic church only, as an alleged accomplice, is stupid and ideologically motivated.
We Christians don't have to sit here and make excuses for those among us who do wrong, so what if Hitler was Christian? I see many Christians claim that anyone who does bad things is automatically non Christian, but this is surely a very naive view.
look, it doesn't matter whether the Hitler was an atheist or not. What is clear is that Hitler saw that religion was one of the best ways to manipulate and consolidate people under a common cause, and that in itself means that anything which proclaims itself religious should be examined with scrutiny, because it is obvious that religion can be used as a force for evil.
@JusJuiceIt Yeah, the whole "Hitler was a Christian!!1" thing is beyond stupid. According to that logic, someone who claims they are a vegan, yet eats meat regularly without a second thought, is still a vegan just because they said so.
Adolf Hitler was neither Christian nor an Atheist. He was heavily involved in New Age Occultism (i.e. Tibetan Buddhism, Ufology, Mysticism, e.t.c.).

Richard Dawkins ought to listen to Dr Craig.

Any argument that Hitler believed in Jesus is out of ignorance. You think this because you have no spiritual understanding whatsoever.
