Spanglish, code-switching between English and Spanish, is what marketers are using to sell everything from the war in Iraq to Burger King's fusion food, "Chicken Fries".

  • yo preach espanglish

  • @Huasteco09 It's not about being low class or uneducated. If anything you out of all people should know that knowing 2 languages is everything but easy and as you claim "uneducated." There is nothing wrong with Spanglish you jack ass. it's called "cultural diffusion" Its the spreading of ideas, knowledge and technology across different cultures. If anything all 'Spanglish" proves that there is hope for the Latino race here in American, as we slowly intermingle and synchronize.

  • Spanglish is spoken by lazy minds or undeducated Latinos. If someone is properly educated to speak fluent Spanish and fluent Engligh, Spanglish becomes a disgusting mix. I find disgusting the Caribbean Spanglish because they have an awful Spanish accent and on top of that, they mix it with English....cuando lo escucho me dan ganas de vomitar.

  • give me my minute and thirty seconds back...this definition is entirely WRONG

  • I don't like this chick's accent in Spanish. I smell a jibara... Also, a lot of those commercials air in spanish speaking channels and if you haven't realized are also broadcasted in Mexico and Puerto Rico

  • i can understand to you mi querido amigo que bueno is good that jejeje chido compadre ja

  • Thanks for thiiisss!!!

I'm going to use it for my English class!!

  • I teach a Spanish class for heritage speakers (people who grew up speaking/listening to Spanish in the home or community) and I am going to use this to teach them about code-switching and the differences between people using it and advertisers doing it. Thank you whoever made this video posted it!!!
