Ricky Rudd gets screwed at Sears Point, 1991

Ricky Rudd gets his win taken away by Nascar for spinning out Davey Allison on the last lap. IIRC correctly Earnhardt Spun out Terry Labonte on the last lap and won, but he did not get his win taken away.Thanks to Ted2 of TBK

I'm surprised Jr. and/or Teresa didn't sue NASCAR for "Wrongful Death" When Sr. crashed while blocking. If Nascar had reined him in like they should have years ago he might still be alive. Of course he wouldn't have gotten 7 Championships. The proof was in the pudding when Cheever took out Sr. in the IROC and when Sr. came out and retaliated after the race even that idiot Geoff Bodine came out whining saying of Cheever "Ya can't take folks out like that" (paraphrased) Sure ya can Geoff.

Rudd got cheated out of that win to favor sponsors paying big to make things happen, like any corporation if you have the money to pay it happens! Of course Unicol didn't have to pay Rudd an extra 45K either makes me even more suspicious since he got the win taken away! Money controlling everything, that is why these things happen! High level bribery is all nascar stands for!

Yeah, that was probably one of NASCAR's most blatant and inexplicable screw jobs......I used to be a fan but this "having four or five different rulebooks" was one of the reasons I bailed out on them as a fan about seven years ago.

@stableshadow No he didnt. Im 110% sure he didnt do it on purpose. Ive been a Rudd for quite some time and he's not a dirty driver like that. Davey probably slowed down way too much or didnt get back on the gas fast enough. There was nowhere to go for Rudd but into the back of him.

@666turbobusa NASCAR has always favored the Earnhardt name. Earnhardt had NASCAR by the dick and if they ever did anything to him it wouldve pissed the fans off which is bullshit. Earnhardt has done so much shit to other drivers and never got penalized for any of it. In fact I remember a race at Phoenix in 1991. If i remember correctly Earnhardt spun out Rudd when Rudd was trying to pass him for the win. Earnhardt spun out too but it was still bullshit and Earnhardt never got any penalty.
