That's kinda the point. Only the UK and Ireland realise just how stupid the Eurovision is, so Ireland took the piss when they did this entry and everyone treated it dead serious, just as you have, and its not suppose to be taken seriously.

15th in the first semi-final in Serbia 2008. 22 points not douze points Irelande van deux pointe lol! it failed to qualify for the final and Ireland isn't in the Big 5 due to various reasons. It highlights how disconnected we are from the eastern parts who gained autonomy and accusations of bloc voting. funny tune like the Swedish one in the interval this year 2013

the beat reminds me of Absolutely Fabulous by the Pet Shop Boys :) the problem with Ireland is for a few years they do camp tunes when the country is predominantly Catholic. It offends many and The UK have gone the opposite way.Ballads and older singers. It's simple.we should've had Ryan and they get a mature singer as before. Stick to what you are good at. Like Scandinavia who have electronic type songs and folky tunes with Ironically Celtic instruments
