Demi: I beg to differ . . .

Joe bent his head and inched his face closer to mine. I felt a gust of air and he threw his head up.

Miley: Joseph, you brought dinner. (She smiled) Yum.
Joe: Miley . . .
Miley: She really wanted you to kiss her. (Oh no) Oh yes. Not to mention the other crazy things on her mind! (She laughed)
Nick: Stop being a bitch. (Turning to me) Hey Demi.
Demi: Hey Nick. (Thank God, what a lifesaver)
Miley: Yeah, youre lucky he was here to help you. (I hate this!) Get used to it. (She grinned evilly)

I shook my head and looked around.

Demi: Wheres Kevin?
Joe: Hes . . . out.
Selena: (Walking down the stairs) Hes out grabbing a bite to eat. (She chuckled)
Demi: Oh, uhm . . .
Miley: We arent going to hurt you.
Demi: Who is he feeding on—
Selena: We dont feed on humans silly!

I grew more comfortable.

Selena: We wouldnt be able to stay here if we did that . . . too suspicious.

She walked over to where everyone was standing and put herself in Nicks arms.

Nick: We only suck the blood of animals, even if occasionally we crave the taste of a humans blood. (He licked his lips playfully but I just cringed)
Miley: You know youre actually scaring her with that look right?
Nick: (Stopping and smiling)
Joe: We should go.
Demi: Where are we going?
Joe: I dont know somewhere where you wont feel uncomfortable. (He grinned and took my hand)

We went out into the backyard.

Demi: Okay, this is a terrible date. (I laughed)
Joe: (Smiling) I didnt say this was it.

He picked me up and we zoomed through the forest, the trees passing as different shades of green blurs. He stopped in front of a cabin and placed me back on my feet. I immediately bent over and began puking everything out. He placed his hand on my back.

Joe: Im sorry, I forgot to tell you to hold your breath.
Demi: (Standing straight again) Its . . . its okay. Where are we?
