I got the smallest working TV I could find from a flea market.

I've dared an old friend to "recreate a moment" from years ago, at an upcoming Reunion party I was unable to attend. I believe I've "shamed" him into it and await a return video.

ENTIRE STORY as to why:

In 1989-90 I lived in "House of ROCK". During a 3 years, about 30 guys (mostly musicians) lived in this house. Through the 3 year rental period of this house the guys made IOU's and were always borrowing items of value. Some may still be sore about unpaid IOU's today.

Many of these guys/rockers joined a online group. One of which who I speak to in this Video) had described in great detail a true tale of throwing a TV off the roof, the cops came... Rock'n'Roll.

I was not be able to attend a reunion party for this "House of ROCK". I wanted to participate. I dared the TV thrower resident to recreate his glorious moment of pointless destruction at the reunion party. Once pictures or video of a TV toss is posted to the internet, then all IOU's and owed money from back then will be declared null and void.

The TV thrower now in his 40's, was almost at a point of saying yes but needed a little more coaxing. He has admitted this video I made has "shamed" him and has no choice but to recreate the pointless destruction of a modern 19" CRT at the party. Hopefully there will be a moment of silence before the 19" CRT gets pitched to honor our friends, those Rockers who have left this world. Rock'n'Roll has casualties.

WHY WOULD I DO THIS WITH MY SON?...
Chances are at some point in his life he's going to want to do something stupid and crazy (like most of us do or should I say MEN) when I am not around to stop him. When he decides to make a stupid mistake, maybe he'll remember to be safe about his stupidity, I hope.

My son held the title of on set "director". It took a couple of hours to get "the scene set". My son helped prep everything: saw horses, plastic, tape & putting weights down on plastic while we patiently awaited assistance of a neighbor. He wore safety glasses and not in the video was a piece of plywood I had propped up at the end of drive way for him to peek around.
