  • Equipment is for dealers who will be trained to offer the calibration service to customers purchasing the VT30. Professional users will also be able to update their CalMAN software to 4.2 so they can also offer the service. The CalMAN DIY software packages also offer access but it is not automated. Hope that helps.

  • dont pay for this crap, even the THX has a little yellow tinge, he is the perfect calibration for accurate colors. professional 1 contrast 36 brightness 20 colour 30 sharpness 3 everything Off including powersave. white balance R-gain -4 G-gain -4 B-gain 4 RC 0 GC 0 BC 1 gammar 2.2 copy this with the rest and changing bringhtness and contrast slightly accordingly. best to use professional 2 with the same settings but high the brightness and contrast slightly with gammar 2.4 for 3D use.

It's all a con, and us fools buy the stuff and pay for it because we have too, otherwise we cannot get a tele, we cant build them ourselves.. its like memory cards for example.. we could use SD, and maybe micro SDs for phones, and that basically covers it all. but there are about 10 different types of memory cards which all do the EXACT same thing.. friggin stupid greedy money make companies should all get cancer and die. cause that money should be spent on better things.

It would make sense wouldn't it, bloody stupid companies finding stupid ways to rape us of our money, its like apple. they could make their ipads compatible with phone 3G, but they purposely make us pay more for a seperate 3G contract... I hate this. in the past people would design new electrical stuff that benefits the consumer, i.e so they wouldnt create new cables or inputs unless it was nessasery, now ppl are so greedy they make different versions to make more money

  • @Gangreen167 Calibration solutions for this display start at around $500 and go up depending on how accurate you want the display system to be.

  • @zurdo85XIX Hi Zurdo: email our main contact for this chart and we'll send you a sample of a deltaE chart.

  • @Hagar Hi Hagar, Automation is now available for enthusiast on select consumer displays including this one.

  • agreed they should already come like this.

  • @Grombi25 just remember that its a review - in the real world, the calibrator will make sure that the colorimeter (in this case) will be pressed up against it and re-run if they have it come loose

  • @g4bb3 It is for your specific enviornment... thats a light sensor on the screen
