Slusnik Luna are a Finnish electronic music duo formed in 1994 and comprising of Niko Nyman and Nicklas Renqvist. The pair play and produce trance and house tracks. They also produced soundtracks for the Amiga CD32 version of the game Super Stardust[1] (1995) published by Team 17 and developed by Bloodhouse. Their debut single Sun was initially released in October 2000 on Unity Records, a label newly founded by the people behind the Helsinki club night Club Unity[2] (headlined by DJ Orkidea). Sun was originally made as a theme for a yearly Sunday club night of the same name, also run by the Club Unity crew. Soon after the original Unity Records release ended in the hands of Pete Tong, in 2001 Sun was released throughout Europe on the UK label Incentive Music[3], in US on Ultra Records[4] and on various other labels around the world. The single was a big success in clubs and reached No.40 in the UK Singles Chart in September 2001.[5] It took them another three years to release their second double-A-sided single Sinner/Magic Kingdom[6] and their chillout album Aamukaste 5AM[7]. The latter of these two releases won Best Album of 2004 award at the 2005 Finnish Club Awards getting more than three times the votes of its nearest contender and following in the steps of Finnish music legend Darude[8]. The pair have also enjoyed success remixing other artists' tracks, including those of artists on Unity Records. Their most notable remix was the unofficial The KLF's "Last Train To Trancentral" in 2006 - WIKIPEDIA

  • Is there any artists these days who produce this kind of trance these days? I am ravenously looking for moody uplifting/prog. trance without vocals or electro-house vibes. It is hard to find music like this out there, since electro-house dominates the charts and trance has become infused in it as well (becoming electrance).

  • @DeepestTempest I agree, hard to find "good old trance" even since Tiesto changed his style. Kids nowdays don't eaven realize how great music Tiesto made 10 yrs backwards. Anyways, I have some great tracks, I'll upload as I have time!

  • Thanks for all the comments and views! Also, please check my other uploads and try to regornize the tracks, would be very helpfull!

  • ...i found this track on a triple disc set called gatecrashers....its from 2006, but it sounds like it could be older, freakin' love it....

  • What a track! I love it.

  • @clsleamington correct thats keeley - max power legend too lol

  • @AndyX8 Alrighty, I'll subscribe to your page and check it out periodically. One more thing...long live the 1990s vibes!

  • The girl in the pic I'm almost 100% sure is a British lass called Keeley Hazell. She's about 23 or 24 now. You could put a warthog on the vid for all I care though, Keeley is hot but this track is equally so!

  • The "chick" in the picture might be Jodie Foster, although in that case this picture must of been taken sometime in the '70s.
