RATS Swimming.....underwater, too!!!!

Jazzmine & Sofie used to dive under the water at bath time!!! This was the 1st time I caught it on video. All of my rats loved their baths; it was fun time for them!!!

The best way to get them used to water is to start off slow & with just a wee bit in the tub. Also, starting young is the best. I am a dog groomer & bath all sorts of critters; tomorrow I have 2 guinea pig clients :) I no longer have rats but they sure are a joy as I'm sure you know with your Blizzard & Oreo :)

Jazzmine had a pretty cool look. Her & her sister, Sofie are passed now. All my rats are; husband is allergic. Rats sure are fun & cute pets, eh?

Very cute ratties! I have a black one with white markings like that named Blizzard. Her sister is a B&W hooded named Oreo. (Got them during the massive blizzards of last year.) I love rats with unusual markings, but their personalities are amazing too. They just love people & love to play! (Now if we can just get them to like water...)

I used to have a pet rat and she couldn't stand sitting in water, but she loved to stick her head all the way in a little tiny cup of it and then shake all the water off and clean herself. XD
