The guitar is a 70's Crestwood ET-290 (Made in Japan) I have one too with the exact same color and love it.

Good job. If you could do your videos closer and sharper, we classic rock fans could learn the guitar parts. Thanks!

@kissarmyforever100 Maybe people are just confused about who's who. Tommy Shaw is the guitar player who starts the main riff and James Young is the singer and plays the riff toward the head of the guitar. They're both great players. Watch Tommy in the Blue collar man video. It's my favorite Styx song.

@wwwwaynex no iits james young iv seen them in consert its realy james and tommy kinda together

For all the debate, Tommy Shaw does the main riff, JY does some rhythm overtop of it, and then JY also does the solo work for this song, and the singing as well. Nice work man.

They way he is playing it that's the way tommy plays it.. JY plays it a different way.. Watch them and see.. there not playing the same riff... JY does more of a E and A chord and single single flick while Tommy does it the way this guys is playing... Seen them 9 times live....
That guitar has such an awesome sound. Are you playing through tubes or solid state?

@gladtobeback01 Thank you. The epi doesn't have gibson on it anywhere! I love this guitar.
