The Eurostar sounds in the video were recorded at Temple Mills last year after my request for a recording session was granted, many thanks for that guys. The train rounds the curve with flanges squealing and the carriage air conditioning running. After the set draws to a standstill you hear the compressor, passenger doors opening and closing, windscreen wipers, driver's door, despatch whistle, right-away & one of the two-tone horns. All sounds are Function key selectable. With two chips fitted you can do things like having the horns, driver's door slam and despatch whistle coming from the right end when the set changes direction. The single and two-tone horns are different at each end, giving you 4 different horns sounds in total. 'Common' sounds (eg passenger doors) come from both ends at once. I've also produced a single chip version. Single or paired chips are all available from www.oliviastrains.com Send me a message if you're interested in bespoke DCC sound in your loco.

  • If only we could get a Eurostar model with opening doors, now that would be good.

  • I'm always recording new material and making approaches to operators to request recording sessions. If am opportunity came up I would record a 357, particularly if someone releases a model of one.

  • Fantastic video! Would be interested in a sound chip but what's the quote?

I thought I'd come to you directly as you have said in your description!

  • @ashleygoddard23 Please send me a private message to discuss.

  • Wich decoder in the locos?

  • @citaro31 The decoders (2) are Loksound v3.5 16Mb versions with my own sounds on them.
