@1952bigscooter found the answer yet? If not, I think you are referring to John McCusker playing on his Cittern. If not then it could be Richard Bennett playing on his Bouzouki. Though Richard plays usually on Mark's right side from viewer perspective.

@fIRsTRATmAN I've tried many times to meet Mark after his concerts (even with DS) but I wasn't lucky enough.

Can anyone say what the name of the instrument being played by the fellow to Marks immidiate left . Looks like a large mandolin but know sure ( 10 strings ?) Thx much for any help.
