Nick Pope - MUFON-LA (2 of 2)

Nick Pope, the former Ministry of Defense for the United Kingdom, was officially responsible for researching and investigating UFO's, crop circles, and other strange phenomena. Now hes come to L.A. to reveal UFO evidence! Between 1991 and 1994 he was posted at a division called Secretariat. While there, Pope claims:

Strong evidence emerged suggesting the presence of structured craft capable of speeds and maneuvers beyond the capability of even the most advanced prototype craft operated by the Royal Air Force or the United States Air Force.

My unique access to new data and old government files convinced me that the UFO phenomenon raised serious defence and national security issues. I came across numerous instances where UFO's had been tracked on radar, leading to jets being scrambled. There were also cases where there had been terrifying near-misses between UFO's and civilian aircraft. All this led me to believe that an extraterrestrial explanation for some sightings could not be ruled out.




Through his official investigations into UFO's, Pope was drawn into other mysteries such as alien abductions, crop circles, animal mutilations and ghosts. Pope is the author of four books, including Open Skies, Closed Minds which details his official UFO work.
