  • Yes it is very tempting, but for now it will have to wait in line for the resto, three Mercury Mark motors are next.

  • cool - thanks

  • is it a 4 stroke?

  • @carrierpilot1357 uhh kinda yeah its like a cam powered by the driveshaft. also dont suppose you have the little fuel adjustor rod that goes on the carburetor?

  • @Rocktecho you mean like a cylinder with a piston that pulls water in and then pushes it out.

  • @carrierpilot1357 Its not an impeller it's a little back and forth pump thingy

  • I have an Elto Ace outboard same as this except single cylinder and 1.8hp

  • metal water pump? how is that supposed to work?

  • I think if that bad boy was mine id break out the wire brush and sand paper and clean that thing up a little and lay the spray paint to it and hang it on the back of my boat to use in case my other motor quit and got me in a bind.... It would look sweet hanging on the back of the boat if anybody was broke down in the head of nowhere.....8-)

  • Nice find. Sounds great.
