SC 2007 General Session 9 John MacArthur - https://www.shepherdsfellowship.org/MediaVault.aspx OR http://ggg-123.blogspot.com/search/label/John%20MacArthur%3A -Law and Gospel Legalism and the Truth of Justification by Faith
Are you a legalist? "Absolutely not!" most of us may fiercely reply. For anyone even casually acquainted with the Christian message knows the Bible teaching that salvation is by grace, through faith, rather than by human efforts to keep the law (see Eph. 2:8, 10; Rom. 3:28). How could anyone who takes the Bible seriously be a legalist?
I thank God for forgiving me even i am not worthy on my own!!!

@GreggDuncanMcLean1 not sure how he presented it, but it sounds fairly similar to what the bible teaches.
"to he who knows to do good and does not it is accounted to him for sin"
we will sin after we come to God, but if we choose to continue to justify known sin, and refuse the power of god to free us from this sin
1Jn 3:8 He who practices sin is of the Devil, for the Devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was revealed, that He might undo the works of the Devil.

there is a cult like following Finalcall07 here on youtube and fb that teach you must must not sin ever again not once. in one video of his called, YourRighteousness, he makes this false teaching very plain saying when one is forgiven by Jesus then you all your past sins are forgiven and now you must be righteous and never disobey or sin ever again. In his usual confusing way he says that you can be forgiven for mistakes but if you willfully sin then there is no more forgiveness for you.
