The Fake Karmapa: What happened to Orgyen Trinleys eyes?

When Ogyen Trinley Dorje was 13 years old, he was in strict retreat in Tsurphu for 1 year and no one could go there to visit him. After he came out of this retreat, his face was somehow changed. The Administration of Orgyen Trinley took a photo of his new face and circulated it around the world. In this particular photo, Ogyen Trinley looked almost the same like on photos of the 16th Karmapa when he was younger -- even the way of dressing and the expression on the face was copied exactly. In Lhasa (Tibet) it leaked that Chan Lu An of Taiwan hired a very good plastic surgeon and brought him to Tsurphu to operate Ogyen Trinley's eyes so that they will resemble that of the late 16th Karmapa's. Ogyen Trinley's Administration also noticed that when Ogyen Trinley smiles, a large part of his gums reveals. Since it was not easy to perform surgery on his gums, the Administration advised Ogyen Trinley not to have a full smile in order to hide his gums.  You can compare photos and movies before and after his surgery in this video.

The young Ogyen Trinley's was the victim of this whole plastic surgery plan, craftily designed by Situ Rimpoche and Tranggu Rimpoche, and implemented by Mr. Chan Lu An. With Ogyen Trinley's surgically altered eyes, Chan Lu An could easily convince superstitious devotees in Taiwan and Hong Kong that Ogyen Trinley is the real reincarnation of the 16th Karmapa (by saying that they have similar eyes).  Situ Rimpoche and Tranggu Rimpoche deceived their easy believers by saying that Ogyen Trinley looked like the late 16th Karmapa, and by claiming themselves to be the guru of Ogyen Trinley, they have deceived millions of dollars of donation from devotees.
