Levon also played Loretta Lynn's father in Coalminer's Daughter, and several other movies as well

Levon Helm and John Prine are both National treasures. Levon was great with The Band and Robbie Robertson. He holds a midnight jamboree at his home in Woodstock NY on weekends and you can attend while he and guests play in a barn. He has done some acting also. If you have seen the movie Shooter, with Mark Walberg, Levon played the old man they went to see about the guns. Good scene that Levon steals. I would love to meet both John and Levon. I admire both greatly.

@labandme There's really nothing commercial about The Band or Levon Helm except their so damn good people made some money off them.
