Wrong. Not 14 drugs. Most of what of was found were metabolites of prescribed medications. Get yourself informed.

  • @matizzle32 I kind of agree with this. While he didnt get Elvis started on the drugs, several members in his band have stated that he didnt care what happened to Elvis as long as he got onstage and sang. I think as his manager, he should have talked to Elvis and said, you're going to ruin your career and life if you don't get clean. Ultimately, it was up to Elvis to save his own life. And we all know how that went, sadly.

  • @matizzle32 Whilst Tom Parker might have been a considerable influence, Elvis certainly took drugs of his own volition and according to many around him at the time enjoyed trying 'cocktails'. Calling them "prescription drugs" seems to reduce the severity of them to many people on here. Don't forget that most drugs are "prescription" although not necessarily 'prescribed' including cocaine, heroin and all the uppers and downers and celebrities have always had their own Dr. Feelgood to 'prescribe'

  • @computerrage

...and who is responsible for plunging Elvis into concert after concert without concern for his health? Yes, COLONEL TOM PARKER!

You may be partly right, but Elvis took all those prescription pills because of the incessant brown-nosers around him and his cockroach of a manager. There is no denying that.

  • @ElvisPresleyFanatic1 I think the drugs might have had a little bit to do with his death (14 drugs in his body at the autopsy)

  • One of my favourite Elvis songs. What a man, what a voice. True entertainer, lots of talent. Won't be another one like this ever again...

please check my videos for this.

I have been a pub Dj & Kj for years, I would like to try singing, but don't know if my voice is good enough.

here's my version, of this classic elvis.

  • 2:49.

    The King giving his orders.

  • @anthonysmith73 There are many recorded elvis concerts that were not shown on DVD because his manager wouldn't allow it. Colonel Tom Parker was a dick and i blame him for the death of the king. Love you elvis

  • My God..just the KING just Great!
