  • This reminds me of all the times I chased a wounded grizzly armed only with an ax and my need for revenge. It's really the only way to do it. The bear doesn't stand a chance. Your grandma hits harder than a grizzly. LOL.

  • you can't outrun a grizzly, who does this fool think he is.

  • @demon91 Yeah. I saw a more recent killer bear movie and it used CG blood. Its a shame the practical effects aren't used as often anymore. I heard word of a remake of Grizzly ages ago but i think it was cancelled.

  • @Themaniacnextdoor

Well, I am too, but both Lepus and Grizzly have practical effects. About every effect in movies were practical because CGI had yet to really be developed.

And I do like the score and acting in Claws - I just think GRIZZLY is the much better movie.

  • @demon91 I guess the score and acting weren't great in this, yeah. I just don't like Grizzly. I even prefer Night of the lepus over it because the effects are better. I'm just a sucker for prctical effects.

  • @Themaniacnextdoor

Grizzly did indeed have better effects. Claws barely has any effects. I love both movies, but Grizzly's the clear winner.

As for the sequel to Grizzly, that's pretty irrelevant in this discussion.

Grizzly had the better photography, score, editing, acting, directing, script, and flow.

  • @demon91 Which one had better effects? Better storyline? Which didden't need a sequel that rips off its competions?

  • @Themaniacnextdoor

    BULLSHIT.

  • this movie was awesome, gotta love the horror films that came from the 70's

  • Pretty awesome movie love shows like this.
