Another dining room recording. Recorded Christmas day. Everybody is relaxed an cool. This was inspired by the great Johnny Smith. I took the movie into Logic Pro and added reverb and eq (since it was recorded with a laptop mic—they are getting better). The guitar is a handmade guitar made by Tim Brockman (his Arch Rival model. Go to www.brockmanguitars.com right now!!!!). I wanted to try to do a solo piece, so hope you enjoy it!

  • you are what making music is all about. outstanding soul song

    very beautiful arrangement

  • Back for another listen Ken. To my ears this is a brilliant interpretation of this classic. So many colors in your harmony. I like your version much better than mine. I might work up the courage and send you my performance. I would love to get a professional's critique.

    Cheers,

  • I can't hear this song without thinking of Johnny Smith. However, you definitely made this your own. Bravo.
