    my chairs have a white coating that pressure washing will not bring off is there anything I can do  patrich @charter.net

    Cole, I am going to go out on a limb and assume your white coating it is more like a powder coating. If it is like a chalk and rubs onto your hands when you touch them your chairs are sun damaged. The only suggestion I can give you is to spray them with a clear coat made for outdoor plastic. It should run you about $5.00 for a spray can, which still is cheaper than replacing them.
