Wrigley Field

Video I shot at the bottom of the 8th inning. Ofcourse the Cubs are losing 1 to nothing and should have been MVP D. Lee is up at the plate trying to tie the game up with one swing of the bat and get Greg Maddux off the hook. Ofcourse not all dreams come true but still a good ole time at the old ballpark. I was sitting 3rd row from homeplate (next to impossible to get tickets) on September 12, 2005 on a perfect night in beautiful Wrigley Field.

This video serves only to prove that the filmaker only managed to sit close to the action. Had it actually been of the singing of the crowd at the 7th inning stretch it might have been interesting, but sadly, you only hear moans and comments of agony as a Cubbie swings and misses which can be seen on any game day in high numbers. Good picture though.

i do have video of the 7th inning stretch by the way, but the point of the video was to show even when the best player in baseball strikes out its still a good time at the old ballpark

Oh boy I enjoyed this video. Fantastic. As a Cubs fan living in England, this is a treat. Sure I watch all the games on MLB.com, but atmosphere like this is priceless. You don't how lucky you are folks.
