SC71 ArtPrize Sept. 2010

This is part 71 of 73 shorts I took of SATORI CIRCUS during the five day endurance performance SC set out to accomplish. It begins on the road from Detroit to Grand Rapids, MI.
The days were long...roughly 16 to 18 hour days...performing, darn-near, non-stop. Then sleeping in full make up and costume in a large display window off one of the main drags (Division St.) in the downtown Grand Rapids area.
Most of these shorts were either taken before the day begin or at the end, from the viewpoint of SC. These vids, the five day endurance performance piece, sleeping in the window as 'live' art, are all part of the title - SongLines.
Oh, yeah forgot...about 99% of the performances throughout the five days were all improvisation. All SC had with him were a few red 'RadioFlyer' wagons that carried all the props.
