So does only the triangle design provide lift? I sort of have a design idea for myself, if I ever get into this. Though its shaped a bit like an elongated twi pointed pyramid.
-
@oldspammer Its more efficient with the foil as the cathode, or negative electrode.
-
@Beamshipcaptain There is a video of a guy who changes polarities, and the thing still flies. So when you say cathode, it does not make sense to me?
-
@Baronstone This works more efficiently in vacuum, as the inverntor, TT Brown discovered. NASA also proved vacuum fuction. THere are Youtube videos showing vacuum function, Scientists John and Harvey Fiala of Caltech proved vacuum fuction, as did Takaaki Musha of Honda R & D. The US ARMY showed in 2000 that ion wind force is insufficient to cause levitation by 3 orders of magnitude. There are videos of saucers encased in resin blocks, I flew them encased in plastic in 2000. This is inertialess.

LOL, its nothing more than an ion wind machine. If it was anti gravity it would work inside a vacuum and we know that lifters dont work in one.

@sn1pe352 Right. Noted. Thanx.
What kind of voltage are we talking about? And can a bi-phasic pulse stream be used instead, or is this too difficult to test?

@oldspammer 30 to 50-kV. Try it. Field is wide open.

place the power source on the unit, you are limited by the wire.

@71296105195 Already done with a small piezoelectric-based powersource of th type we sell in 2003 by a profesor in Tokyo, and more recently here in America by my colleague John Fiala. Onboard-power is no problem.
