  • Context, context, context! Instead of describing the Church as a fort, let's understand it as a hospital. The Church exists not to protect the righteous, but to heal the sick.

  • how about just live and befriend people with no agenda, just simply because their human beings just like us who need to be loved just like us.

  • semantics? it's your premises that are flawed.

  • Hey Kinnaman, if ur reading this, I heard one of your presentations on this topic and it was clear that you are precisely the sort of smug gasbag that makes people dislike Christians. You had an condescending tone whenever you spoke of non-Christians or "people in the homosexual lifestyle" (LOL!).

And stop praising yourself for belatedly realizing that you should have treated that stripper with respect. Most non-Christian 10 year olds would have known how to behave decently. Why didn't you?

  • I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK! I think it goes hand in hand, too, with "Why We ARe Not Emergent"... as the End Times draw near, the church WILL change, and I think these two books are a great introduction as to what we might expect it to look like and why....

  • @ReyMatthew He was offensive to the religious elite not the lost.

  • What does the bible say about these issues? Does it ask the church to conform to non-Christians, or does it say to conform Christians. These ideas are very unbiblical, Christ said he is an offense, which means that it will offend people.

  • @MeisterDude Well if we are going to put everything into context, context, context, then the doctors of the hospital should not be treating sick smokers when they themselves go out for a smoke break after a hard shift of "healing the sick". It's one thing to have faith that you know can never be changed and you never doubt it's power, but you do doubt it's power when the views of your faith have to be made into the laws i am forced to follow, regardless, then your faith is weak. at best.

  • If you feel you can help someone with one of the books in the collection behind you, give them that book.

  • Yes, agree!

  • Everyone, not just Christians, should read this book.

  • OUARGH! That's y last nae!!
